New Owners at Southern Touch on Amelia Island



Congratulations to the new owners of Southern Touch in Downtown Fernandina Beach on Amela Island: Peggy Horton, Bonnie Johnson, and Mary Jo Parker! The store features many of the same great brands that customers have loved for years including Willow Tree, Cat's Meow Villages, Crabtree & Evelyn and April Cornell but there are plans to begin carrying more unique items and gifts. Nassau County is celebrating The Big Read - a grant from the National Endowment of the Arts is featuring Hammett and his classic masterpiece The Maltese Falcon.

A highlight of the Big Read celebration will be a special luncheon at the Ritz-Carlton, Friday January 29 featuring Julie Rivett, granddaughter of Dashiell Hammett. $50 a ticket.
